It was an honor to place an American Flag in the name of Jon Nordquist. Their service and sacrifice for our freedom and country will never be forgotten. Thank you, Eugene Abel, for remembering our fallen this Memorial Day. #MNRemembers

Hello. I also requested a flag for Jon. He was a friend of my brother David Knutson. When David was still alive, he would place flowers on Jon’s grave every Memorial Day. Since he’s now gone (2011), I want to see Jon honored in David’s name. My brother Mark and I volunteer every year for Flags For Fort Snelling. It is a way of giving back. It was nice to meet you.
